Don’t Waste Your Votes By Electing Thieves, Looters – Mr Macaroni Warns Nigerians

Debo Adebayo, a well-known Nigerian social activist and comedian better known by his stage name Mr. Macaroni, has warned Nigerians to be aware of politicians who promise money in exchange for votes.

On Tuesday, Mr. Macaroni sent a warning on his verified Twitter account.

He asserts that candidates that give money in exchange for votes are merely making investments rather than helping Nigerians.

He added that the people had a rightful claim on the nation's treasury.

He noted:

“Any politician offering you money in exchange for your vote is not going to serve you. They are only investing.

“If they get into office, they will loot the Nation’s treasury which rightfully belongs to the people.

“Do not vote in thieves and looters!

“They are destroyers.”
